The role applies plaster to interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create smooth, durable, level finishes.
Work includes preparing surfaces for painting or final finishing.
Responsibilities
- Clean surfaces, remove debris, and apply bonding agents or mesh when needed.
- Mix plaster, cement, and mortar to the correct consistency for each surface.
- Apply base/scratch coats and finish coats using trowels, floats, and straightedges.
- Level and smooth plaster to produce straight, flush, and plumb walls and ceilings.
- Create decorative textures or smooth finishes to project specifications.
- Clean and maintain plastering tools and mixing equipment daily.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plaster Mason or Plasterer on construction projects.
- Expertise producing smooth, blemish-free interior and exterior finishes.
- Proficiency with standard plastering tools, including trowels, hawks, floats, and levels.
- Physical stamina for continuous overhead work and lifting heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail, straight lines, and uniform surface depth.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary is AED 1,400–1,600 per month.
