Overview

Responsibilities

• **Supervision and Leadership:**
• Lead a team of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Motivate and support team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain high standards of performance.
• **Operations Management:**
• Coordinate and oversee the receipt of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Verify received shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Direct the allocation of received inventory to appropriate storage locations within the warehouse.
• **Inventory Control:**
• Implement inventory management best practices to optimize space utilization and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy and address any discrepancies promptly.
• **Operational Efficiency:**
• Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as receiving accuracy, dock-to-stock cycle time, and inventory turnover.
• **Safety and Compliance:**
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inbound operations.
• **Communication:**
• Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of operations.
• Provide regular updates to management on performance, challenges, and opportunities.
• **Requirements**
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as Supervisor or similar role in Warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics, Odoo) and inventory management tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools for data analysis.
