Role Overview
The Warehouse Storeman supports a fast-moving logistics operation by keeping goods moving, racks organised, and shipments on time.
The role starts as casual with a pathway to permanency.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload containers, handle pallets, and support the unpack crew.
- Act as Unpack Supervisor when required.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Scan freight in and out using V3 scanning and barcode scanning guns.
- Operate forklifts to move stock across the warehouse floor.
- Locate and pick stock accurately for warehouse orders.
- Follow OHS practices and promote safe behaviour in the warehouse.
Qualifications
- A current LO and LF forklift licence is required.
- A solid understanding of warehouse OHS standards and practices is required.
- Willingness to learn V3 scanning is required; full training is provided.
- Basic computer skills are advantageous.
- A team-first attitude and commitment to doing the job correctly are required.
