Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee end-to-end warehouse operations within a leading flour milling and food production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient storage, inventory accuracy, and timely dispatch of finished goods, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

The position also oversees warehouse operations across multiple locations (Fujairah, Ajman, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi), ensuring alignment with production and distribution requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, packing, inventory handling, and dispatch of finished goods and raw materials.
• Coordinate closely with production and distribution teams to meet operational and delivery targets.
• Implement and continuously improve warehouse SOPs to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.

Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure availability without overstocking.
• Collaborate with procurement and planning teams based on forecasts and production schedules.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for tracking, reporting, and inventory visibility.

Workforce Management

• Lead, supervise, and develop warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Set and monitor KPIs to drive team productivity and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and operational procedures.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
• Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Train staff on safe handling practices and warehouse safety procedures.

Logistics & Dispatch

• Coordinate with logistics and transport providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Optimize shipping schedules and resolve delivery-related issues in collaboration with internal teams.

Budget & Cost Control

• Manage warehouse budgets and monitor operational expenses.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.

Technology & Systems

• Leverage WMS, SAP B1, and other tools for efficient warehouse operations and reporting.
• Support implementation of new systems and technologies to improve operational performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Proven experience in a managerial leadership role.

• Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and GMP (certification is an advantage)
• Experience in food manufacturing, flour milling, or related industries preferred
