The Warehouse Manager oversees warehouse operations to improve space efficiency, service quality, and performance.
The role allocates resources to business needs and works closely with customers to meet their requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, lay out, and maintain warehouse facilities.
- Manage receipt, unloading, and assembly of inbound stock to order specifications.
- Conduct stock counts and periodic reviews of warehouse methods.
- Resolve long-stored stock issues, discrepancies, overages, shortages, damages, and rejected materials.
- Maintain inbound and outbound documentation, develop warehouse data-management systems, and report to senior management.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with relevant statutory norms.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred.
Experience
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- At least four years in warehousing and supply chain; retail industry experience is preferred.
