As a key member of the restaurant, you will deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every patron feels welcomed and appreciated.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner and take and process food and beverage orders accurately.
- Menu Guidance: Provide detailed information about menu items and daily specials while answering customer inquiries.
- Service Excellence: Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks while keeping tabs on guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including setting and clearing tables, and ensure a tidy environment for guests.
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with kitchen staff to ensure streamlined communication and efficient service.
- Checkout Process: Handle guest payments with accuracy and professionalism, providing a smooth transition as guests conclude their dining experience.
- Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of both staff and customers.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a waitress or in a similar customer service role.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to enhance guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Team player with a willingness to assist colleagues.
