Main accountabilities
- Own and refresh the Global Procurement multi-year strategy, aligned with group and business-area plans.
- Create a sequenced transformation roadmap with accountable owners, milestones, benefit cases and governance.
- Own source-to-contract process design, performance and technology roadmap.
- Simplify, automate and expand self-service for policy-compliant purchasing.
- Evolve the procurement operating model, including organization, category structure, resourcing, location strategy and business interfaces.
- Partner with the PMO on strategy-aligned improvement initiatives.
- Lead supplier consolidation, third-party cost transformation, procurement integration in M&A and make-versus-buy reviews.
- Oversee data management and quality; coach distributed teams and build senior business relationships.
Requirements
- Substantial senior procurement, sourcing or third-party cost experience in a large, complex multinational organization, including strategy, operations or transformation experience.
- Technology and indirect procurement category expertise.
- Track record delivering procurement transformation at scale, including operating-model change, technology deployment or process re-engineering.
- Deep source-to-pay knowledge and experience with a major S2P platform, including implementation or major upgrade.
- Commercial and financial fluency, including business cases, savings methodology and engagement with senior finance leaders.
- Ability to influence executives in a federated business and experience leading distributed teams, managing managers and building capability.
