Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Graduate Resourcing strategy and operating plan in alignment with workforce requirements and the Bank's people strategy.
• Set direction, priorities, performance expectations, and accountabilities for Graduate Resourcing AVPs.
• Oversee coordinated graduate attraction, assessment, selection, university engagement, candidate management, and program delivery.
• Oversee program governance, performance, risks, issues, and milestones; resolve or escalate material matters.
• Support placement, development, progression, and retention of UAE National graduate talent.
• Partner with business and HR leaders on graduate demand, intake priorities, roles, placements, and development opportunities.
• Build relationships with government entities, universities, educational institutions, and external partners to strengthen the talent pipeline and employer brand.
• Oversee Emiratization campaigns, career fairs, university engagement, and targeted attraction initiatives.
• Oversee assessment and selection approaches with Talent Development and relevant stakeholders.
• Review metrics, dashboards, and management information; drive continuous improvement and timely action on performance trends and delivery gaps.
• Operate within Group policies, governance frameworks, and delegated authority; make decisions under the approved authorization matrix.
• Any wellbeing activities involving physical activity must align with the Bank's health and safety responsibilities.

Requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant banking-sector experience, including at least 3 years of managerial responsibility.
• A master's degree is an advantage.
• Professional certification in CIPD or a related discipline is preferred.
