Overview

We are seeking a highly strategic, commercially driven, and entrepreneurial

Vice President of E-Commerce

to lead and scale the group’s end-to-end digital commerce business, with a strong focus on FMCG.

This is a leadership role responsible for defining the e-commerce vision, driving accelerated growth, and building a best-in-class omni-channel experience across owned platforms and third-party marketplaces.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the overall e-commerce strategy, including growth roadmap, digital transformation initiatives, and channel expansion.
  • Own full P&L responsibility for the e-commerce business, including revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
  • Position the organization as a market leader in online FMCG within a highly competitive environment.
  • Drive revenue growth, conversion rates, basket size, and customer lifetime value.
  • Develop data-driven strategies to improve acquisition, retention, and profitability.
  • Oversee the end-to-end digital marketing and promotional strategy, including performance marketing, CRM, and campaigns.
  • Ensure best-in-class digital storefront execution, including assortment, product content, navigation, and search optimization.
  • Drive continuous improvements in UX/UI, conversion optimization, and customer journey.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless order management, fulfillment, last-mile delivery, and service quality.
  • Partner with supply chain and logistics to ensure high availability, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
  • Lead relationships with third-party marketplaces and delivery platforms.
  • Ensure competitive and consistent pricing strategies across all digital channels.
  • Build and lead a high-performing e-commerce organization, including commercial, marketing, merchandising, and operations teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15 years of experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, or omni-channel retail, with a strong focus on FMCG.
  • Proven track record of scaling large e-commerce businesses and owning P&L.
  • Strong understanding of online shopping dynamics, last-mile delivery, and marketplace ecosystems in the UAE/GCC.
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing, merchandising, pricing, and customer experience optimization.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with experience using data platforms, dashboards, and performance tools.
  • Strong leadership experience managing large, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
