[UAE] Data Scientist

Role overview

Client data science delivery

• Define data needs, business objectives, and success measures with client leaders, engineers, and analysts.
• Find, collect, prepare, and explore structured and unstructured data.
• Build, evaluate, and productionize predictive models and machine-learning algorithms, including NLP and generative AI use cases.
• Build and manage data pipelines and data ecosystems for production models.
• Create dashboards and visualizations and present findings to technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy solutions on cloud environments.

Business and internal contributions

• Support business development through opportunity identification, proposals, and client presentations.
• Contribute to internal data-science accelerators and assets and perform other appropriate delegated duties.

Qualifications and experience

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Statistics, or Engineering.
• 4 to 6 years of experience as a data scientist or in a comparable applied machine-learning role.
• Strong Python and SQL and solid knowledge of machine-learning and statistical techniques.
• Experience taking models from exploration to production and working with large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Experience with data pipelines, data ecosystem management, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Experience presenting results to client stakeholders, with problem-solving skills and business acumen.
• Professional proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Based in the UAE, in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

Preferred qualification

• Certification in AI/ML, data science, or a cloud platform is a plus.
• Management consulting experience is not required.
