The employer is seeking an experienced Tundish Repairman with steelmaking and refractory experience.
Requirements
- Technical diploma in a relevant field.
- At least three years of experience in a steelmaking plant and process operation.
- Strong refractory experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with tundish repair and relining.
- Experience with refractory bricks, castables, and refractory machinery.
- Knowledge of mixing machines, brick cutting machines, rammers, and spray machines.
- Experience with tundish covers, steel pots, and related refractory areas.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions.
- Good command of English and strong safety and quality awareness.
Responsibilities
- Perform tundish repair and relining.
- Work with refractory materials and machinery, including bricks, castables, mixing machines, brick cutting machines, rammers, and spray machines.
- Handle work involving tundish covers, steel pots, and related refractory areas while following technical instructions.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 2,145.85 to QAR 4,415.80 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
