The employer is seeking an experienced Slide Gate Repairman with steelmaking and refractory experience.
Requirements
- Technical diploma or higher secondary education.
- At least 3 years of experience in a steelmaking plant in the same job profile; this experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of steel melt shop processes.
- Hands-on experience with ladles, slide gates, and refractory systems.
- Knowledge of refractory replacement and repair.
- Experience with ladle mechanisms, nozzles, and related equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good command of English.
- Strong safety and quality awareness.
- Applicants below 50 years of age are preferred.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 2,145.85–QAR 4,415.80 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
Responsibilities
- Repair slide gates and work with ladles and refractory systems.
- Replace and repair refractory materials and equipment.
- Work with ladle mechanisms, nozzles, and related equipment.
