Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related discipline.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English across speaking, writing, reading, and listening.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Currently or previously working as a Commercial Manager.
- A Master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent is an advantage.
- MRICS, MCIPS, PMP, CCM, or an equivalent professional certification is advantageous.
- Experience in marine construction, offshore, dredging, oil and gas, EPC, or heavy civil infrastructure is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial strategy, governance, and business operations.
- Manage and oversee contracts and commercial activities.
- Lead procurement and supply chain management.
- Manage logistics and related commercial activities.
- Oversee tendering, proposals, and business development.
- Conduct commercial negotiations with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project commercial performance, costs, risks, and contractual obligations.
- Ensure effective contract administration and commercial compliance.
- Support management in strategic business and project decisions.
Core Expertise
- Strong negotiation, contract management, procurement, and business development expertise is sought.
- Experience in marine, dredging, offshore, EPC, oil and gas, and infrastructure projects is encouraged.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 17,000 per month.
Workplace and Employment
- This is a full-time role.
- Work is performed in person.
