Seeking a skilled Boat Captain to operate commercial vessels up to 24 meters in Dubai.
The role emphasizes passenger and crew safety, maritime navigation, and vessel condition.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and navigate commercial boats up to 24 meters while complying with maritime laws and safety regulations.
- Ensure the safety of passengers and crew on board.
- Conduct vessel maintenance checks and ensure operational readiness.
- Manage docking, mooring, and navigation in varying weather conditions.
- Keep accurate trip, maintenance, and incident records.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a Boat Captain or in a similar maritime role.
- Fluency in Hindi and English.
- Strong knowledge of maritime safety regulations and navigation procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Remain calm and make prompt decisions in emergencies.
- The qualifications section calls for a valid FTA commercial boat license up to 24 meters, STCW certification, and Seaman book; the separate license list marks them preferred.
Pay
- AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
