- We are currently looking for a Truck Mechanic to join our team in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec . This is an evening shift position, Monday to Thursday, from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- The truck mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of mobile equipment such as trucks and trailers, including their upkeep, repair, and refurbishment. What you’re responsible for:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy vehicles and mobile equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective inspections according to company standards.
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct functional tests to ensure proper operation of the equipment.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safety and efficiency of operations
To join our team
Training: DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent training.
Requirement: PEP card.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient in hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Computer Skills: Ability to use computerized diagnostic tools.
Driver’s License
Safety: Knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and adherence to safety protocols.
Permanent full-time position
Evening schedule: Monday to Thursday – 2:30 PM to 1:30 AM
Premium for the evening shift
Overtime paid after 40 hours
