Role overview
The Senior Accounting Analyst joins the finance team to support financial reporting, analysis, process improvement, accurate accounting operations, and business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; perform account reconciliations and variance analyses.
- Support month-end and year-end close; analyze financial data for trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling; ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits and collaborate with FP&A, operations, and leadership teams.
- Implement process improvements and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA or CPA eligibility is preferred; 4–7+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards; advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and formulas.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as D365 or Maximo; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
