Role overview

Driving and transportation

• Operate the company’s 4.5-ton truck safely and in line with UAE traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport assigned goods, follow daily schedules and routes, and complete deliveries on time at the correct destination.
• Drive defensively and account for traffic, road restrictions, delivery schedules, speed limits, parking rules, and loading restrictions.

Loading, delivery, and documentation

• Load and unload goods when required; arrange and secure cargo to prevent shifting, damage, contamination, leakage, or loss.
• Check goods against delivery notes, invoices, transfer documents, or delivery lists; report shortages, excess, damage, or discrepancies.
• Deliver only to authorized destinations, obtain signatures or other required acknowledgments, and maintain and return delivery records.
• Report delays, unsuccessful or refused deliveries, wrong addresses, and other issues promptly; do not release goods without authorization or documentation.

Vehicle inspection and care

• Inspect the truck before and after trips, including tires, brakes, lights, mirrors, fluids, fuel, battery, and other essential components.
• Report mechanical problems, warning lights, unusual noises, accidents, or vehicle damage to the supervisor.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable, maintain a hygienic cargo area, park in the designated area, and follow the maintenance schedule.
• Do not make unauthorized vehicle repairs or modifications.

Food safety and safety compliance

• Keep the truck clean and protect food from contamination, dust, pests, and other environmental hazards.
• Follow company food transportation procedures, maintain required temperatures where applicable, and report spoiled, damaged, leaking, contaminated, or improperly stored products.
• Follow company health and safety procedures, use required protective equipment when applicable, and use safe procedures for parking, reversing, loading, and unloading.

Candidate requirements

• Be responsible, reliable, safety-conscious, and professional.
• Understand UAE roads and traffic regulations.
• Be able to perform loading and unloading duties when required.
