Junior Graphic Designer

Role purpose

Design and social media content

• Create social posts, stories, reel covers, advertisements, campaigns, product promotions, seasonal materials, and event designs.
• Prepare menus, flyers, posters, banners, table displays, digital screens, and artwork for delivery platforms and digital campaigns.
• Adapt designs for platform requirements and create content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
• Produce recurring visual content and assist with content calendars, short-form videos, reels, stories, and promotional videos.
• Edit food and product photos and assist with photography or basic photo/video content when required.

Campaigns, brand, and coordination

• Develop campaign concepts with the Marketing team, translate marketing ideas into visual concepts, provide creative options, and revise work based on feedback.
• Maintain correct and consistent use of the IL FORNO logo, fonts, colors, imagery, layouts, and visual guidelines.
• Organize editable design files, photographs, videos, and final artwork; replace outdated promotional materials when instructed.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Operations, Branch Managers, external printers, photographers, videographers, and suppliers; meet deadlines and promptly flag delays.
• Support branch promotions, special events, and urgent marketing requirements; occasional branch visits may be required.

Qualifications and skills

• A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–2 years of graphic design experience is preferred; social media content experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is required.
• Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, CapCut, or similar tools are an advantage; basic photography and video-editing skills are preferred.
• Good understanding of social media trends and content formats, typography, composition, colors, and visual hierarchy is required.
• Good English communication, attention to detail, deadline management, and ability to handle multiple projects are required.
• Restaurant/F&B, hospitality, retail, e-commerce, food delivery, digital marketing, or agency experience is advantageous; food photography, restaurant promotions, menu design, and social media content experience is highly preferred.

Working conditions

• Full-time position based at the IL FORNO Head Office; work is in person.
• Additional hours may be required during major campaigns, events, launches, or urgent marketing needs.
• The role requires flexibility to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.

• Pay is AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
