Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, workstations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas.
- Wash, peel, chop, shred, and grate ingredients; assist chefs with preparation and kitchen tasks.
- Sweep and mop floors, empty and clean trash bins, and dispose of waste properly.
- Receive and unload food and kitchen supplies; store ingredients according to food safety guidelines.
- Monitor inventory and report low stock; report damaged or faulty equipment.
- Package leftover food upon request and perform other assigned kitchen duties.
Qualifications and requirements
- One year of Kitchen Assistant/Helper experience is required; similar kitchen experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation, kitchen hygiene, food safety, and proper food storage.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, stand for extended periods, and perform kitchen duties.
- Hardworking, reliable, organized, willing to learn, and able to follow instructions under supervision.
- Good teamwork and communication skills; flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Pay and job types
- Pay is AED 2,200–2,500 per month.
