The Treasury Analyst handles transactional and technical treasury work, including payments, cash and liquidity, FX, intercompany funding, cash forecasting, and banking.
The role also involves strategic work and communication with senior stakeholders across the global organization.
Responsibilities
- Support daily treasury operations, prepare cash positions, investigate issues, and monitor payments.
- Track and settle intercompany receivables and payables and manage in-house banking activities.
- Support FX conversions and derivatives operations; promote awareness and accurate booking of FX exposures.
- Prepare guarantees and letters of credit as needed and follow treasury policies and guidelines.
- Support or lead international ad hoc projects and reporting.
- Support systems implementation and modification, testing, and validation.
- Document processes and coordinate periodic team certifications.
- Contribute to cash forecasting and working-capital projects.
Requirements and experience
- University education in Accounting or Finance is required.
- CA–Inter passed or an MBA is preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant treasury experience in a large public company or banking institution is preferred; pharmaceutical experience is also preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced multinational matrix organization.
- Fluent spoken and written English; another language is a plus.
- Strong change-management, communication, influencing, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to change; proactive, hands-on, results-driven, and service-oriented.
