Coordinate shipping, fleet, and border-clearance processes for a company specializing in container fabrication and customized solutions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments for timely, cost-effective deliveries.
- Plan routes and transport schedules based on operational needs.
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and warehouse staff.
- Handle shipping and customs documents, including invoices, permits, and clearance papers.
- Track shipments and update teams and customers on delivery status.
- Resolve transport issues such as delays, damages, and penalties.
- Maintain transport-cost records and prepare performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transport regulations.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in transportation, logistics, or shipping coordination.
- Knowledge of customs clearance and border regulations; UAE/Oman experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP or logistics management systems; ERPNext is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective English communication; Arabic or Hindi is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work under time-sensitive conditions.
- A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Pay
- AED 2,500–2,700 per month.
