Role overview

Project coordination

• Coordinate container conversion, modification, fabrication, interior fit-out, and site project activities.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, workshop teams, and site teams.
• Prepare schedules, work plans, progress reports, documentation, correspondence, approvals, and records.
• Monitor milestones, deadlines, deliverables, delays, drawings, materials, deliveries, and site activities.
• Review architectural, interior, civil, MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Coordinate partitions, ceilings, flooring, doors, joinery, painting, electrical, plumbing, and related fit-out works.

Estimation and quotation

• Prepare estimates for interior fit-out and container conversion projects.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, material requirement lists, BOQs, rate analyses, costing sheets, and commercial quotations.
• Estimate material, labour, fabrication, fit-out, transportation, equipment, and installation costs.
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Procurement and site coordination

• Source suppliers, request quotations, negotiate prices and delivery schedules, and prepare purchase recommendations.
• Follow up on purchase orders, material availability, lead times, deliveries, and pending orders.
• Coordinate material delivery to workshops or project sites and verify materials against approved requirements.
• Coordinate workshop trades, transportation, site visits, progress monitoring, snagging, handover, and completion.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Two to five years of interior fit-out project experience.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and construction methods.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and other MS Office applications.
• Good written and spoken English.
• UAE interior fit-out experience is preferred.
• A UAE driving license is an advantage.
