Responsibilities
- Prepare and review mechanical drawings, layouts, and technical specifications; design mechanical systems for container modification and conversion projects.
- Coordinate with workshop, fabrication teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Review drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and project requirements; prepare material take-offs, estimates, and technical submissions.
- Supervise fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning; ensure work meets approved drawings, quality standards, specifications, and schedules.
- Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with civil, electrical, architectural, and project teams.
- Check materials and fabricated components for specification compliance; prepare progress, inspection, and other project reports.
- Support procurement by identifying suitable materials, equipment, and suppliers; ensure compliance with UAE safety and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience; container modification, fabrication, construction, MEP, or industrial project experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication, and installation; ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with other engineering or design software is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of BOQ, material estimation, and technical documentation.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- UAE experience is preferred; a valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,500 per month.
