Overview
- Orchestrate the daily transportation schedules, ensuring optimal route planning and vehicle utilization to minimize operational costs.
- Manage a fleet of vehicles, overseeing maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections to guarantee vehicle safety and operational readiness.
- Supervise a team of drivers and transport staff, providing clear instructions, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Implement and enforce transport policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Oversee fuel consumption and related expenses, implementing strategies to reduce costs and improve fuel efficiency across the fleet.
- Handle all accident and incident investigations, preparing detailed reports and coordinating with insurance providers.
- Monitor and analyze transportation data, identifying trends and recommending improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce expenses.
