Role Overview
The position is a Transaction Banking Payments Business Analyst role.
The posting seeks an immediate joiner or a candidate with a notice period of no more than 30 days.
Domain Experience
- Payments and transaction banking experience is required.
- Strong customer journey experience across mobile applications or browsers is required.
- Relevant exposure may include cross-border payments, FX engines, wallets, payment operations, ISO 20022, or compliance and regulatory payments.
- Previous HSBC experience is preferred but is not mandatory.
Business Analysis and Agile
- At least 2 years of Agile exposure is required, beyond only sprint and Scrum planning.
- The candidate should be proficient in writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- The role requires experience running detailed requirements workshops and grooming backlogs.
- The candidate should understand the end-to-end delivery lifecycle and the business analyst role at each stage.
- Risk and issue analysis experience is required.
Communication
- Excellent communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer journeys for payments experiences across mobile applications and browsers.
- Support business analysis across cross-border payments, FX engines, wallets, payment operations, ISO 20022, and regulatory payments.
- Write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Run detailed requirements workshops.
- Manage and groom the product backlog.
- Apply Agile practices throughout the delivery lifecycle, beyond sprint and Scrum planning.
- Analyze risks and issues across end-to-end delivery stages.
