The Trailer Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of all the vehicles using heavy-duty trailer .
The role involves ensuring timely delivery, maintaining vehicle condition, and complying with all traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate trailer trucks to transport vehicles to designated locations safely and on time
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips
- Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of vehicles
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery documents, and fuel records
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delays immediately
- Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams for schedules and routes
- Ensure cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle
