Trading Application Support Analyst

What you'll do

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 production support for fixed income, commodities and FX trading systems as the first contact for EMEA trading teams.
• Support proprietary electronic and algorithmic trading platforms, including testing, requirements gathering and algorithm implementation with Portfolio Manager teams.
• Resolve issues across proprietary and external trading platforms, escalating effectively and driving issues to resolution.
• Identify and automate manual processes to improve efficiency, controls and trade support.
• Manage incidents and changes and maintain documentation and knowledge-base content.
• Coordinate communications across firm management, brokers, development teams, Risk Management and Operations.
• Coordinate platform onboarding with vendors, application owners and trade-floor support; ensure applications are installed, configured and tested.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, trading limits, test trades, training and real-time application monitoring.

What you bring

• At least 3 years of trade support or business analysis experience in a sell-side, buy-side or trading-firm environment.
• Working knowledge of Unix and Windows and intermediate SQL skills.
• Proven experience supporting AI platforms and working with OpenAI, Anthropic or other model vendors.
• Strong communication, prioritization and problem-solving skills; ability to handle issues, escalations and competing priorities in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Experience with fixed income and derivatives platforms such as Bloomberg, TT, Tradeweb, BidFX or WebICE is a plus.
• Exposure to asset classes including equities derivatives, interest rate derivatives, cash equities, fixed income and credit is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Python or Java and HTTP or REST API concepts is a plus.
• Familiarity with middle- and back-office systems, risk platforms and market data services is advantageous.
