The Listed Derivatives Core Operations team provides end-to-end operational coverage across a multi-strategy hedge fund environment.
The role supports the full lifecycle of futures and options, from trade support and reconciliation through settlement, expiry, delivery, broker administration, and account onboarding.
What you'll do
- Process and control daily listed derivatives activity from trade support through settlement and reconciliation.
- Monitor expiry calendars and support delivery management, exercise decisions, assignment activity, and clearing workflows.
- Support futures rollovers, settlement, expiry, and delivery, including bond-futures delivery coordination.
- Investigate reconciliation breaks, identify root causes, and drive timely resolution.
- Administer give-up agreements, commission tracking, broker billing, and fee structures.
- Support account setup, documentation, and operational readiness for fund launches and mandates.
- Coordinate with trading, risk, technology, brokers, and exchanges to resolve queries; coordinate global handovers.
- Identify automation and AI-enabled process improvements for reconciliation analysis, reporting, monitoring, and data analysis.
What you bring
- At least 2 years in financial operations, middle office, trade support, or a related role.
- Sound understanding of the listed derivatives lifecycle, including options exercise, assignment, expiry, clearing, and futures workflows.
- Familiarity with reconciliation, clearing and margin, give-up agreements, commission structures, and broker billing is beneficial.
- Bond futures, physical delivery, global listed derivatives markets, JIRA or similar tools, and AI or automation platforms are advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work accurately under time pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfort with data and spreadsheets; willingness to learn operational systems.
- Proactive, collaborative approach to global teamwork and interest in using AI and automation to improve processes.
