Trading Analyst
Role Overview
The Trading Analyst joins easyJet's Trading Team to support pricing and trading decisions for a geographical region.
The role analyses sales trends and external markets to identify actions that improve revenue per seat, close revenue gaps and surface risks and opportunities.
The analyst reports to a Lead Trading Manager and works with Commercial, Marketing, PR, Digital and Data Science colleagues.

The Trading Analyst joins easyJet's Trading Team to support pricing and trading decisions for a geographical region.
The role analyses sales trends and external markets to identify actions that improve revenue per seat, close revenue gaps and surface risks and opportunities.
The analyst reports to a Lead Trading Manager and works with Commercial, Marketing, PR, Digital and Data Science colleagues.
Work arrangement
- The role is hybrid, with 60% of working time each month spent in the office.
Contract duration
- This is a nine-month fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities
- Monitor regional sales performance and external market trends, highlighting risks, opportunities and revenue gaps.
- Analyse trading needs, including performance around notable events and peak periods.
- Recommend pricing changes to support financial targets.
- Provide analysis for partner teams and support projects with central revenue management colleagues.
- Turn analysis into clear actions for teams.
What the role requires
- Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness, with experience using Excel.
- Understanding of pricing and revenue management, modelling or analysis, from aviation, travel, another commercial setting or an analytical or numerical degree.
- SQL or a similar programming language would be useful, but is not required.
- Communicate clearly, build relationships, influence teams, stay self-motivated and solve problems in a changing environment.
