Trade Finance Manager

About This Role

Shop Her Haven is seeking an experienced and strategic Trade Finance Manager to join our finance team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing trade finance operations, optimizing working capital, overseeing import/export financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with banking and international trade regulations.

This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong expertise in trade finance, banking instruments, and global commerce who can support business growth through efficient financial structuring and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end trade finance operations including letters of credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and documentary collections
• Oversee import and export financing transactions and ensure timely execution
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions to secure optimal trade finance facilities
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements related to trade activities
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, banking policies, and company procedures
• Prepare trade finance reports, exposure analysis, and financial documentation
• Support procurement and supply chain teams with financial structuring for imports
• Manage foreign exchange exposure and support hedging strategies when required
• Review and verify trade documentation including invoices, shipping documents, and contracts
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce financing costs in trade operations

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in trade finance or corporate banking
• Strong knowledge of international trade finance instruments (LCs, SBLCs, guarantees, etc.)
• Experience working with banks and financial institutions in trade operations
• Familiarity with import/export processes and customs documentation
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in retail, trading, or multinational companies is an advantage
