Role Purpose
The Ticketing Officer supports the efficient delivery of ticketing operations by ensuring seamless system functionality, adherence to standard procedures, and compliance with financial and operational controls.
The role plays a key part in maintaining service excellence across all ticketing touchpoints.
Ticketing Operations
- Support day-to-day ticketing operations across POS, CRM, and booking systems.
- Monitor system performance and coordinate with vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure business continuity.
Process & Workflow Management
- Assist in developing and maintaining standardized ticketing processes, workflows, and approval mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with operational policies, governance frameworks, and internal controls.
Cash Handling & Financial Controls
- Support daily cash opening and closing procedures in line with established financial controls.
- Assist frontline ticketing staff during peak periods to ensure smooth customer transactions.
Reporting & Data Accuracy
- Maintain accurate ticketing records, ensuring consistency in ticketing products and system data.
- Support daily reporting, reconciliation processes, and data validation activities.
Operational Support & Escalation
- Act as the first point of contact for ticketing-related issues, providing initial resolution and timely escalation where required.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address operational challenges and improve service delivery.
Onsite & Event Support
- Provide onsite operational support during museum operating hours, including shift-based coverage.
- Support ticketing requirements during events, activations, and high visitor volume periods.
Profile Requirements
- Proven experience in ticketing operations, POS systems, or customer service environments
- Strong experience in cash handling and financial control procedures
- Working knowledge of CRM and ticketing systems
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
- Ability to work flexible shifts and perform effectively under operational pressure
