Role purpose
Manage cash transactions and provide customer service in a bank branch.
Branch banking and cash handling
- Process cash withdrawals and deposits in UAE dirhams and foreign exchange, cheque deposits, and inter-account transfers.
- Handle cash withdrawals and lodging with the vault or main safe, and reconcile cash and valuables at day end.
- Process demand drafts, telegraphic transfers, standing instructions, related transactions, IPOs, and returned outward clearing in accordance with procedures.
- Process inward and outward bills and cheques, including foreign-currency clearing and returned cheques.
- Post debit and credit vouchers and non-financial data, and file documentation.
- Verify cash requested from and received from the vault and ensure related postings are correct.
Customer service and targets
- Meet customers, understand their needs, provide banking services, and answer branch telephone queries professionally.
- Meet referral targets by sharing accurate retail product information and identifying potential leads.
- Meet NPS targets by representing FAB values and providing a customer-focused experience.
- Meet monthly online and mobile banking onboarding targets, demonstrate digital channels, and help customers use the mobile app.
Controls and coordination
- Maintain accurate transactions, comply with audit and risk controls, and prevent income leakage.
- Coordinate with colleagues and internal stakeholders, complete mandatory training, and perform other duties assigned by branch management.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- 1–2 years of relevant banking-sector experience.
- Familiarity with bank products, customer experience, and related policies and procedures.
