Telesales Executive – Restaurant & Bakery Channel (UAE, Contract)

We’re hiring a full-time contract SDR to cold-call UAE restaurants, bakeries, cloud kitchens, caterers, and multi-outlet F&B groups, with one job: book qualified free product sample requests for a well-known professional butter and cream range, then drive the Day-7 feedback follow-up.
About the company and product
This role supports an outbound pilot for a well-known food-service manufacturer’s professional butter and cream range. The products are sold to kitchens, bakeries, patisseries, QSRs, FSRs, caterers, and foodservice operators, not retail shoppers. The range includes food-service butter and cream formats such as 10kg butter blocks and 1L cream cartons, used in applications like bakery lamination, sauces, desserts, makhani gravies, holding, finishing, and high-volume kitchen prep.
You’ll work with our outbound agency team. We provide the dialer, lead lists, CRM, scripts, calling playbook, sample coordination workflow, and a selling-stories deck written in chef language. You bring the phone ability, kitchen credibility, and discipline to work UAE calling windows.
What you’ll do
- Make 60-80 outbound dials per day to UAE F&B kitchens during the right windows: 10:00-11:30 and 15:00-18:00 GST, avoiding lunch and dinner service.
- Research each account for around 5 minutes before calling using Google Maps, Instagram, Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon, LinkedIn, and the restaurant’s menu.
- Identify the chef-owner, head chef, executive chef, pastry chef, procurement manager, F&B director, or decision-maker.
- Open calls with real kitchen context, not generic SDR talk. You should be able to reference items like croissants, laminated dough, beurre blanc, mantecatura, makhani gravy, tadka, ashta, knafeh, frangipane, bain-marie holding, cream-based sauces, and dessert applications naturally.
- Book free product sample requests for qualified kitchens and coordinate the dispatch handoff with our team.
- Send WhatsApp follow-ups after calls, because UAE F&B runs on WhatsApp more than email.
- Run a 5-touch cadence over 10 working days per account using phone plus WhatsApp.
- Log every account, conversation, objection, sample request, and follow-up task cleanly in CRM.
- Join a weekly review to discuss which segments, scripts, cuisines, objections, and offers are working.
What we need
- You have cold-called restaurants, hotels, bakeries, caterers, food distributors, HoReCa buyers, restaurant suppliers, commercial kitchens, food manufacturers, or hospitality operators before.
- You are not a SaaS SDR. Foodservice distribution, ingredient sales, restaurant supply, FMCG food sales, dairy, oils, bakery ingredients, cream, butter, beverages, coffee, packaging, or hospitality-supply experience is highly relevant.
- You are comfortable speaking to chefs without sounding corporate. If a chef asks about smoke point, fat percentage, holding, performance in sauce, or whether a product works in a specific prep, you will not bluff. You will say, “I don’t know, I’ll confirm that properly,” and follow up.
- You can handle 60-80 dials per day without drama.
- You write clean, short WhatsApp follow-ups that sound human.
- You are fluent in English with a neutral, highly intelligible accent for UAE kitchens.
- You can work UAE hours, Monday-Friday, with some Saturday coverage when needed.
- You are comfortable with a full-time contract setup, month-to-month or initial 60-90 day term.
Bonus skills
- Arabic, Tagalog, Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, Tamil, or Sinhala.
- Prior work as a line cook, chef, pastry commis, bakery salesperson, foodservice distributor rep, restaurant supply rep, or hospitality procurement caller.
- Experience selling butter, cream, dairy, oils, bakery ingredients, dessert ingredients, frozen bakery, coffee, beverages, or food packaging.
What we are not looking for
- A pure SaaS SDR with zero food-service, restaurant, FMCG, hospitality, or physical-product experience.
- A UAE field-sales-only rep who needs to drive around with samples all day. This is remote phone plus WhatsApp, not van sales.
- Someone who needs a high guaranteed base and is uncomfortable with commission tied to sample requests, Day-7 feedback calls, and first orders.
- Someone who sounds scripted, corporate, or vague when speaking to chefs.
Compensation
AED 4,500-6,500 monthly base for a UAE-based contractor, plus commission.
