Role overview
Technology Operations Analyst supporting a technology department within a Lloyd’s of London insurer.
Coordinates budgets, suppliers, events, communications and reporting so technology leaders can focus on strategy, people and delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Track departmental spend, forecasts and supplier commitments; keep leadership informed of the financial position.
- Coordinate purchase orders, contract renewals and consultancy engagements with Finance and Procurement.
- Organise leadership meetings, planning cycles, town halls and away days.
- Manage intranet content and internal announcements celebrating team wins and milestones.
- Track governance risks, actions and decisions; prepare management information and reporting packs.
- Serve as the first point of contact for vendors, industry event invitations and external enquiries.
- Monitor cross-team initiatives, dependencies and issues; propose practical operational improvements.
- Build relationships across Technology, Finance and HR.
Requirements
- Background in technology operations, business management, PMO or a comparable coordination role.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and complete tasks; clear written and verbal communication.
- Commercial mindset and comfort with budgets, suppliers and contracts; confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and strong working knowledge of collaboration, reporting and planning tools.
- Insurance or London Market exposure is beneficial but not required.
Compensation and employment
- Salary stated as up to £40k; no pay cadence is specified.
- Permanent contract.
