Responsibilities

• Design and configure enterprise LAN/WAN networks and configure routers and switches for new implementations.
• Troubleshoot network incidents and apply knowledge of connectivity, protocols, and routing.
• Configure and upgrade switches and address vulnerabilities to secure them.
• Document network designs and processes.
• Understand and maintain Cisco ISE Tacacs setup and devices managed through Tacacs.
• Improve Cisco ISE performance; add network devices, manage existing users, and arrange appropriate access.
• Design and implement infrastructure covering network security, data network switching and routing, voice infrastructure, telecom links, datacenters, server rooms, and IDF facilities.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is listed, but hands-on applicable experience is emphasized as more important.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise network solutions.
• At least 3 years of exposure to network engineering or operations, with strong working experience in switching, routing, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, SolarWinds, Cisco ISE, switching, and routing; experience with Aruba, Silver Peak, Wi-Fi, and CPPM is also specified.
• Ability to read network topologies and identify bottlenecks and protocol choke points across OSI layers 1–7.
• Experience delivering within Agile and operating under strict change management in a heavily regulated environment.
• Incident management, root cause analysis, communication, collaboration, self-motivation, and openness to feedback and learning are specified.

Technical focus

• Network security includes IPSec, ACLs, and routing protocol authentication.
• Network and voice scope includes data network switching and routing, voice infrastructure, and telecom links.
