Business Analyst

Role purpose

Product and feature delivery

• Gather business requirements from requirement owners and bank stakeholders; create user stories and other Agile documentation.
• Review functional specifications, test cases, and execution to confirm alignment with business requirements.
• Conduct contextual testing and defect triage; support UAT and regression testing timelines.
• Prepare accounting plans and narrations, email alerts, report formats, and front-end functional error messages.

Stakeholder and vendor coordination

• Coordinate requirement sign-off, UAT, and testing with business and operations teams.
• Coordinate impacted operational process documents, process agreements, and sign-offs; provide change walkthroughs.
• Document end-to-end user journeys and prepare weekly progress updates.
• Coordinate with vendors, track development and testing progress, and prioritize defect fixes.

Product readiness and support

• Prepare service package templates, charge rate sheets, user groups, signature matrices, and file templates for launches.
• Prepare and execute go-live sanity checks and production tests; support pilot client onboarding.
• Coordinate production incidents and problem fixes and reconcile production test accounts.

Education and experience

• Education may be BE/BTech, BCom with relevant transaction banking, banking, or technology experience, or a master's in technology or management.
• Experience in cash management, corporate banking channels, transaction banking products and processes, and product development or management.
• Knowledge of corporate channels and products across cash management, treasury, and FX; cash management and channel/product specialization is preferred.
• Experience working across client or product management, product sales, operations, risk, and other internal bank stakeholders.
• Client onboarding and migration experience; experience managing technology delivery using Agile SDLC methods.

Skills and competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Banking systems knowledge related to transaction banking, core systems, channels, or middleware is an advantage.
• Agile maturity, proactive teamwork, business focus, professional expertise, market knowledge, networking, and client management.
