Role

Maintenance and operations

• Maintain assigned property systems and areas, including electrical, mechanical, kitchen, painting, carpentry, audio-visual, fire life safety, recreational water, guest rooms, public areas, and exterior features.
• Carry out condition-based and preventive maintenance according to manufacturer instructions and property guidelines.
• Perform civil, MEP, and ELV rectification and maintenance, including planned preventive maintenance under approved SOPs.
• Attend guest complaints through job orders and perform assigned shift coverage.
• Respond to building emergencies and hazard notices while following health and safety guidance and using personal protective equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and report cleanliness issues; maintain issued tools and equipment and keep calibration current where applicable.
• Escalate issues to senior personnel and advise the team leader about material requirements.
• Coordinate room blocking with housekeeping and front office for maintenance work.
• Complete inventory with the team leader and prepare necessary documents.
• Teach and train others, and act as team leader when the team leader is absent.

Qualifications and experience

• 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance facility trade.
• Diploma education or trade school certification.
• Experience with facilities maintenance trades, including preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Skills in rectification, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in restricted-access areas.
• Willingness to assist others, good communication skills, and ability to escalate issues to superiors.
