Role summary
Six-month contract with immediate start in Doha, Qatar.
Hands-on delivery role managing a portfolio of concurrent VAPT engagements for enterprise and government clients.
Accountable for delivery on time, within scope, and to client-executive standards; reports to the Head of Cybersecurity.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate network, web application, cloud, and mobile VAPT engagements from scoping and rules of engagement through final report handover.
- Lead client kickoff, scope confirmation, progress updates, escalations, and closeout.
- Review testing findings and explain vulnerabilities as business risks to non-technical stakeholders.
- Allocate testing resources, monitor progress against testing windows, and clear dependencies.
- Track remediation to closure, schedule retesting, and maintain open-finding status.
- Maintain documentation, quality-check deliverables, and manage change requests and scope creep.
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of IT project management experience, including 2–3 years managing cybersecurity or VAPT delivery.
- Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CVSS, network security fundamentals, and cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent engagements with competing deadlines.
- Strong written reporting and executive-level verbal communication in English.
- Currently resident in Qatar with valid QID and NOC, available for the full six-month term at short notice.
Advantages and preferred certifications
- Qatari information assurance requirements or regional cybersecurity compliance framework familiarity is a strong advantage.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM certification preferred; CEH, Security+, or equivalent security certification is an added advantage.
