Translate customer requirements and business objectives into secure, workable service architectures and standards.
Work with security operations and compliance to align services with contracts and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Design security services and solutions around customer needs, business objectives, and industry practice.
- Analyse customer needs, business processes, and technical requirements to create service designs.
- Define service design methods, frameworks, and standards with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct user research and analyse service data to improve existing services.
- Track service quality with metrics and KPIs; participate in audits and reviews and drive corrective actions.
- Guide service design teams and support project delivery.
- Support monitoring and trending tools for infrastructure, software, performance, and resource utilisation.
- Plan capacity at enterprise, system, and component levels.
- Coordinate security reviews with operations and compliance to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Track emerging security technologies and incorporate them into the service roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years in technology services, with a strong focus on information security service and solution design.
- Hands-on design across DLP, PAM, IAM, MDM, DNS security, FIM, deception, NGFW, XDR, SIEM, SOAR, email security, proxy, and WAF.
- MSSP or cloud security-service design experience is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of enterprise data centres, networks, storage, servers, applications, and management systems.
- Working knowledge of service design principles and architecture frameworks for service definition and documentation.
- Good knowledge of scripting, security analysis, data modelling, and database management.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with teams, stakeholders, and customers.
- CISSP, CCSP, CISM, TOGAF, or vendor security architecture certifications are advantageous.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
