Build ETL/ELT pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources, and deliver meaningful visual insights to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for operational and strategic decisions.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, reliability, and relevance of dashboard data and reporting solutions.
- Monitor and improve the BI ecosystem by evaluating and implementing tools, features, and methodologies.
- Use Power BI Fabric, Dataflows, and Deployment Pipelines to improve reporting efficiency and governance.
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines and integrate data from SQL databases, flat files, APIs, ERP systems, and other enterprise sources.
- Build efficient data models and use DAX and Power Query (M) for calculations, transformations, and reporting logic.
- Apply visualization best practices and work with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
- Support deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization; document dashboards, models, pipelines, and processes.
- Provide ongoing BI solution support and recommend enhancements based on business needs.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, and data visualization techniques.
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating multiple data sources, including SQL databases, flat files, APIs, and ERP systems.
- Strong experience with SSIS and SSAS.
- Good understanding of BI architecture, reporting lifecycle, and deployment practices.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern BI ecosystem enhancements.
- Experience with report publishing, workspace management, and Power BI Service deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality controls, and BI best practices.
- Exposure to enterprise reporting environments and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
Technical skills
- Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- DAX and Power Query (M).
- Data modeling and data visualization.
- ETL/ELT, SQL, SSIS, and SSAS.
- Microsoft Fabric, Dataflows, and Deployment Pipelines.
- API and ERP data integration.
Language requirement
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
