Technical Project Manager – Delivery

Role overview

Experience and education

• 10+ years of experience in IT services or product engineering organizations.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong technical background, including 5+ years as a solution architect or senior technical manager.
• Proven experience leading large-scale, complex delivery programs and owning end-to-end delivery across multiple client engagements.

Delivery leadership

• Manage delivery P&L, including margins, utilization, and revenue recognition.
• Define and implement delivery frameworks, governance models, Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices.
• Establish and monitor delivery KPIs, including on-time delivery, defect density, customer satisfaction, and resource utilization.
• Lead, mentor, and scale teams with 15+ direct reports; build succession plans and develop capabilities.

Client and technical leadership

• Manage executive stakeholders, escalations, steering committee meetings, and delivery reviews; build C-level client relationships.
• Support pre-sales and due diligence activities.
• Provide architectural guidance and conduct technical quality audits and health checks.
• Identify and mitigate risks involving scope, timelines, and resources; lead digital transformation initiatives.

Technology expertise

• Expertise required in at least two areas: full stack; cloud and DevOps; or data and AI/ML.
• Examples include .NET Core, Angular or React, Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, Python/Django, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, SQL, NoSQL, data pipelines, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of cloud, microservices, AI/ML, low-code/no-code platforms, security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance, including ISO, GDPR, and SOC 2.

Additional qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.
• MBA, PMP, or CSM certification is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills; strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to drive customer satisfaction and build long-term client relationships.
