Role overview

Quality leadership and delivery

• Lead QA lifecycle activities, quality governance, release readiness, risk management, and functional through end-to-end testing.
• Lead and mentor teams; manage resource allocation, schedules, priorities, delivery risks, coaching, and career development.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Establish QA metrics and dashboards; perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive action.

Automation and technical testing

• Drive automation strategies across UI, API, mobile, database, regression, and end-to-end testing using Java, C#, Python, Selenium, Playwright, TypeScript, Appium, REST Assured, and Cucumber.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and improve coverage, reliability, execution time, and maintainability.
• Lead REST/SOAP API, web services, microservices, web, desktop, and mobile testing.
• Lead SQL, database, ETL/ELT, data warehouse, data pipeline, and data integration testing; validate mappings, transformations, reconciliation, and data integrity.
• Test Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, semantic models, DAX, KPIs, filters, refreshes, and row-level security.
• Work with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Pipelines, and Dataflows; validate end-to-end data flows.
• Drive performance, load, stress, scalability, reliability, and security testing; tools include JMeter, k6, LoadRunner, Grafana, Azure Load Testing, OWASP ZAP, and Burp Suite.
• Support OWASP-based security, API security, authentication, authorization, vulnerability testing, and DevSecOps.
• Use generative and agentic AI for test generation, automation, defect analysis, root-cause analysis, maintenance, and reporting, with human review and governance.
• Promote AI-assisted tools including GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, and Gemini.
• Lead UiPath RPA and intelligent automation initiatives and establish development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• ISTQB/ISTQB Advanced Level, CSM/PSM, UiPath, Microsoft Power BI/Fabric, Cloud/DevOps, or AI/Generative AI certifications are preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, test strategy, estimation, risk management, defect management, and release management.
