We’re Hiring: Technical Office Manager

📍 Abu Alnaga Contracting

Abu Alnaga Contracting is seeking a highly experienced Technical Office Manager to lead and integrate technical, commercial, and contractual functions across our construction projects. This role reports directly to senior management and plays a critical role in ensuring technical excellence, cost control, and programme compliance.

🧩 Responsibility Areas

🗂 Consultant Review & Coordination

• Review drawings, RFIs, and technical submittals
• Manage technical comments, clarifications, and approvals

📅 Master Programme & Schedule

• Develop and control project master schedules
• Primavera P6 / MS Project planning and critical path analysis

📐 Quantity Surveying & Estimation

• BOQ preparation and validation
• Tender pricing, cost benchmarking, and cost planning

💰 Cost Control & Budget Management

• Earned value analysis
• Cost variance reporting and cash flow forecasting

📜 Contract Administration & Claims

• Manage FIDIC-based contracts
• Variations, EOTs, claims, and contractual notices

🔧 Value Engineering

• Propose alternative materials and methods
• Feasibility studies and cost–benefit analysis

📦 Procurement Plan & Work Packages

• Define scopes of work and packages
• Manage subcontractor tendering and evaluations

📊 Technical Reporting

• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly technical & commercial reports
• Direct reporting to CEO / General Manager

✅ Requirements

• Education:
• B.Sc. in Engineering (mandatory); PMP certification is a strong advantage
• Experience:
• Minimum 10+ years of total experience, including at least 5+ years in UAE/GCC Technical Office roles
• Software Skills:
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Revit, Advanced MS Excel, and exposure to BIM workflows
• Contract Knowledge:
• Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts
• Languages:
• English is mandatory; Arabic is a strong advantage
• Leadership:
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, coordinate, and mentor technical teams
