Engineer/Mobile Technical Office (UAE National)

About This Role

Job Description As an Engineer/Mobile Technical Office, you will play a vital role in the e& EUAE/Tech&IT/D&FO/Mobile Network Development department. Your primary focus will be on contributing to the mobile network's growth and improvement by providing expert recommendations and managing projects effectively. This role involves exploring the market for innovative solutions, evaluating technologies, and implementing sustainable practices to enhance network performance and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• End to End project management from all aspects including and not limited to (Reviewing the contract, Data collection and analysis,

Budgeting, Following up for Purchase orders, Following up material delivery and project implementation, Updating the assets,

Systems acceptance, Invoicing, and systems handover to maintenance).

• Participating as committee member in Etisalat tenders to review technical & financial offers, compare the offers together as well as

compare it with similar existing contracted offer, negotiate with bidders technically and financially, prepare technical & financial

evaluation report to award the desired bidder.

• Providing the required power & telecom designs/ solutions for case by case in order to insure delivery of required solution to

maintain network availability, site quality and cost effective solution.

• Exploring the market and searching for new technologies which shall provide cost savings, or provide technical enhancement, or

being environmental effective solution. Then coordinating with technology / product supplier to test the solution and introduce it to

Etisalat network.

• Troubleshooting reported cases from operation and studying the rout cause to provide proper rectification solution.
• Leading other teams technically by preparation of technical guidelines following organization and authority regulations with insuring

products recommended performance, and providing technical case by case advises and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology– Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mobile network technologies, protocols, and standards.
• Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate and select appropriate solutions.
• Good understanding of sustainable practices and their application in the telecom sector.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for project management and documentation.
• Willingness to stay updated with industry developments and attend relevant training.
• UAE National, as per the company's preference.
