We're Hiring! Technical Office Engineer – Bartawi General Contracting
Location: AlQouz industrial area 2- Dubai
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to project teams during project execution.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders, proposals, and ongoing projects.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and assist in pricing and cost breakdown.
- Review project designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings for construction projects.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and assist in preparing BOQs and material submittals.
- Ensure timely submission and approval of technical documentation.
- Follow up on procurement schedules and ensure materials align with project requirements.
- Support the Technical Office Manager in handling RFI responses, design revisions, and variation orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in the UAE in a technical office or engineering role.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), MS Office, and project coordination tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project documentation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
