About The Role
We are hiring a
Technical Manager
for a leading O&M (Operations & Maintenance) company managing its first independent
1.8 GW Combined Cycle Power Plant
in the Emirate of Sharjah.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing technical operations, ensuring plant efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all technical aspects of the power plant operations
- Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of plant equipment
- Oversee maintenance strategies, troubleshooting, and technical support
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams
Requirements
- Proven experience in a large Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant
- Strong background in Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
- Experience working with GE heavy-duty gas turbines (F Class and above) is highly preferred
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong knowledge of power plant systems, safety standards, and best practices
