Bluetech Marine Services LLC seeks two Technical Managers to lead marine technical operations and regulatory integrity across its branches.
The remit covers LSA/FFA, calibration and automation services and the company's standing with flag administrations and classification societies.
Responsibilities
- Own technical operations and set strategy, service standards and quality benchmarks across branches.
- Develop SOPs for LSA/FFA servicing, lifeboat and davit maintenance, release gear overhauls, calibration and automation, aligned with applicable codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Sign survey reports, service certificates and compliance documentation as the designated technical signatory.
- Manage flag state and classification society approvals, renewals, audits and scope extensions; liaise with relevant authorities and surveyors.
- Manage multi-site workforce planning, performance and technical mentoring; oversee service, inspection and certification schedules.
- Provide technical input to tenders and quotations, and identify opportunities to expand service capabilities and approval scope.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on experience in LSA/FFA servicing, lifeboat and davit systems, calibration and automation, or related marine technical operations.
- Proven experience managing flag state and classification society approvals.
- Strong working knowledge of SOLAS, the LSA Code and relevant IMO and flag regulations.
- Prior supervisory or managerial technical experience; marine service provider or ship management experience is ideal.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
Compensation
- The description states pay of AED 10,000–15,000 per month.
