Technical Head - Joinery

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead technical operations for joinery, furniture manufacturing, and interior fit-out.
• Review and approve shop drawings, cutting lists, material specifications, and technical submissions.
• Ensure technical accuracy, quality standards, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with design, estimation, production, procurement, and project teams.
• Provide technical solutions for complex joinery and manufacturing challenges.
• Optimize material utilization, production processes, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Guide and supervise technical teams, draftsmen, and engineers.
• Ensure timely delivery of technical drawings and production documentation.
• Resolve technical issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in joinery, furniture manufacturing, or interior fit-out.
• Strong technical knowledge of joinery detailing, shop drawings, materials, and production processes.
• Experience handling technical teams and coordinating with multiple departments.
• A Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• UAE or GCC experience is an advantage.

Compensation

• The description states AED 16,000–20,000 per hour; the structured salary field states AED 16,000 per month.
