Prepares and reviews technical submissions, method statements, technical documentation, and design drawings for water treatment and infrastructure projects.
Coordinates with consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review material submittals against project specifications and client requirements.
- Develop and update method statements for water treatment system installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Coordinate technical approvals and clarifications with consultants, clients, and suppliers.
- Assist with shop drawings, data sheets, and as-built documentation.
- Verify materials and equipment against project standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Support QA/QC and Procurement in evaluating and selecting materials and equipment.
- Visit sites to support technical work and verify installation against approved submittals and drawings.
- Track technical submissions and follow up on approvals.
- Attend project meetings, respond to technical queries, and provide engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role; water treatment, wastewater, or MEP project experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of material approval processes and method statement preparation.
- Familiarity with water treatment systems, pumps, valves, filtration units, and piping materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to collaborate across disciplines and manage multiple submittals under tight deadlines.
Preferred skills
- Experience with reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, or wastewater treatment systems is preferred.
Pay
- AED 5,000–8,000 per month.
