The employer seeks an experienced Procurement Engineer – MEP for UAE construction and infrastructure projects, particularly ADNOC projects.
The role procures MEP materials, equipment, and services in line with project specifications, approved budgets, quality standards, and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement for electromechanical projects, including sourcing materials, equipment, and services.
- Identify suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and issue purchase orders.
- Manage supplier relationships, conduct evaluations, and review supplier performance.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor project budgets and procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Mitigate procurement risks, including supply-chain disruptions and quality issues.
- Ensure purchased materials and equipment meet required quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate delivery logistics for materials and equipment to project sites.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and comply with regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with project objectives and timelines.
Requirements
- Experienced procurement engineer with a strong background in UAE construction and infrastructure projects.
- Particular experience with ADNOC projects is sought.
- Able to join immediately.
Compensation
- Pay starts from AED 5,000 per month.
